On 8/10/2005 I posted a solution that I found for my iPod when it froze up. Since then I have had several people email me comments thanking me for the entry. Well today I received an email from a guy named Wil. He told me that when his iPod froze up he searched for it on the internet and Scandalous blog (yours truly) was the first site to pop up. I thought that was pretty cool and confirmed it for myself. Check it out here or go to Yahoo! and search for "iPod froze up".

Hey There,

Gotta tell ya. I was on my way to work this A.M. with the pod going as usual.

Got through on tune, and that baby just froze in time,. Couldn't go fwd or rev, lite on couldn't shut it off. So when I got to work I put it in my docking station, still no joy.

So I googled My Ipod just froze up. And yes indeed your site popped up.

Even better, your solution , hold the center and menu buttom at the same time for a few seconds, AHH YES, I am back in music business.
